Men’s Fellowship at North Scituate Advent Christian Church

Brothers in Christ welcomes all men ages 18 and older. We come from all walks of life and a variety of different occupations and backgrounds, but we are united by our faith in Jesus Christ and our desire to serve God and others.

Brothers in Christ began in 2007 with two primary goals in mind:

1. We wanted to provide a forum where men could come together for mutual encouragement, discipleship and accountability. We meet every other Saturday from September to May for fellowship, study and Bible based discussion to accomplish this goal. Starting in the fall of 2009, we plan to begin the “Men’s Fraternity” study material entitled The Quest for Authentic Manhood as we continue our efforts in this area.

2. We also wanted to be able to serve God, one another, our church and local community in practical ways. We have done projects including a roadside clean-up; removal of a chain link fence from a neighbor’s property and reinstalling it at the church to provide an enclosed playground for children at the church. We have provided people with a variety of “manpower” related assists.
